If you were looking for an excuse to get rid of that old dehumidifier that's been sitting in the basement, but was too lazy? Well how does $30 sound? Yeah...pretty sweet deal if you ask me!

According to MassSave.com, if you have an old dehumidifier that is still in working condition, then there could be some dollar signs in your near future.

On Saturday April 30th, 2016, all (and only) residents from New Bedford can recycle their dehumidifier with Mass Save in order to receive a $30 rebate! Drop offs can be made at the Crapo Hill Landfill location from 9:00AM - 12:00PM. It's only a short period of time so don't miss the three-hour window!

Residents are only allowed to turn in one cash rebate per year, for those who have multiple units. Mass Save is asking for the recycled dehumidifiers to be between 30-70 pints in size and in working condition.

Once again, Mass Save is asking that if you live in the city of New Bedford to bring and present proper address identification to the recycling location.
