Top Bridal Trends For 2015

A brand new year means brand new trends from bridal runways and it's not just sweetheart necklines or lace anymore.With each year passing, brides expect more and more from their weddings. Nowadays, we are all about style, untraditional and creative and that's exactly what the bridal runways have delivered. There are currently 6 top trends that are dominating the bridal fashion world.

The first popular trend is 'off the shoulder' dress. Who needs strapless anymore? Off the shoulder is definitely "in" this year and it looks gorgeous. It's very romantic and original but it might become the staple style of dress for brides.

The second is 'Illusion backs'. A elegant, yet sexy twist to any bride's dress. It's the perfect design for any bride out there who wants to turn heads!

The third chart topper is, believe it or not, 'oversized bows'. Something that used to be considered a bridal suicide is now a hot, upcoming trend!  Instead of small, unnoticeable bows that used to be popular, the new saying for bows is the bigger, the better!

The four top spot is dedicated to incredibly stunning and very detailed pearl designs. Instead of diamonds, crystals, sequins, this year is all about the pearl bling.

The fifth trend is something we have seen in recent years and has been getting more and more popular: 'non-traditional colors'. Almost every bride wants to spice up her wedding in a way that no one else has done and what better way to do it than to have a non-traditional colored dress? I'm all about this trend!  When I got married I was dead set on having a pink dress.  I had a difficult time finding one actually, so I ended up going with a champagne colored dress for my ceremony, and then a couple of months before my wedding, I found the perfect pink dress for my reception!

And for our last trend, it is something that the stylish Kate Middleton popularized herself: 'Lace sleeves'. A very beautiful and elegant design that is seemingly fit for a princess.
