A lot has been made of David Ortiz' fit last week when he smashed a phone in the dugout. (See video below), but it pales in comparison to some of the fits thrown by various players and managers in all levels of baseball. It was hard to narrow this list down to 5, but I did my best.

Here are my top 5!!

Minor-league Mississippi Braves manager Phillip Wellman was ejected from this game in 2007.  After kicking dirt on home plate, he draws out the umpire's strike zone in the dirt. Then he takes 3rd base and tosses it in the outfield. Then he belly crawls to the mound, and tosses the rosin bag at the umpire. Finally, he takes 2 bases and walks out.

In this video, a coach goes nuts after being asked a question in a post-game interview.

Don't tell George Brett he has too much pine tar on his bat....or else!!

Called third strike, ejection, here comes the bat!!

Minor League Meltdown

And of course Big Papi!!
