The things people do to entertain themselves in the snow never ceases to amaze me!

Want to slide down a chute of ice on a custom made toboggan? Camden Snow Bowl ski resort can help you do just that.

This snow 'ride' does not seem like it's for the faint of heart. You hop on a Camden Toboggan Company toboggan and then speed down a chute of ice and out onto Hosmer Pond in Camden, Maine.

It has to be cold enough for the pond to freeze of course, so you'll always want to check the conditions report on the Camden Snow Bowl website to see if it's open the day you want to go.

Of course even if you aren't brave enough for the toboggan chute, you can still enjoy Camden Snow Bowl.

This ski resort is the only one on the East Coast with ocean views from the trail tops.

They also feature 20 runs, a 4,000-foot triple lift, night skiing, ski lessons, fat biking, snow shoeing and plenty of snow making to keep the trails open even when Mother Nature isn't on board (that doesn't seem to be the case this season!)

And the prices are super reasonable. An adult day ski pass is just $33!

You can find Camden Snow Bowl just 90 minutes north of Portland on Barnestown Road in Camden, ME. And it sounds totally road trip worthy to me!

And they even host a toboggan championship every season.
