These days, we all hear people (like me) complaining about their kids, their significant other or even their parents who spend all of their time in front of a screen. Whether it's a laptop, iPhone or TV, it seems America is addicted to our electronics.

But there's hope! Turns out, we're not the worst perpetrators!

According to a study, conducted by Internet analyst Mary Meeker and reported by outsideonline.com, Indonesia spends the most time in front of some type of screen.

The stats are in and Indonesians reportedly spend 4 hours and 51 minutes in front of their mobile devices per day. Per. Day.

In comparison, the U.S reportedly spends 2 hours and 31 minutes per day in front of their smartphones.

The phone is easily the device with the most screen time and it is predicted by Meeker, to take over all other technologies in the near future.

Meeker reports that the U.S ranks 2nd in overall TV watching, ranks 13th in phone use and ties at 16th in laptop/desktop/tablet use.

I have to admit, I thought Americans were a lot worse than that!

So the next time you're worried about the technology taking over the future of America, just remember these stats!
