While dairy products don’t cause bloating in all cases, but if you have a lactose intolerance or gluten issue it may add to bloating that you already have. Even if un-diagnosed, some people just have trouble with dairy. If you have a gluten issue, this also carries the same for wheat and grains.
The article points out that fatty food, even the good kinds, can add to bloating. Fats are harder for the body to digest than proteins and carbs, so they will sit longer. A rich fatty meal might not be the best idea.
