Even when Hugh Jackman is donning his adamantium claws in 'The Wolverine,' he still knows how to bring on the swag factor.

Amidst its latest unveiling of a slew of movie images from the upcoming 2013 superhero slate, including the first official look at 'Thor: The Dark World,' Empire Magazine offered a new look at 'The Wolverine' star wearing his Sunday's finest, proving Jackman is equipped to look fierce and strike ferociously any time or place.

This next chapter in Wolverine's storyline will take our favorite X-Men member to Japan, years after the events that took place in 'X-Men: The Last Stand.' Once there, he finds himself more isolated than ever while faced with his ultimate enemy.

Along with the latest photos of Jackman, Empire Magazine chatted it up with 'The Wolverine' producer Hutch Parker, who provided even more details on the plot (via Comic Book News):

We pick up Logan in a very isolated state, full of self-loathing. He is sought out by a young Asian woman for reasons he doesn't fully understand, who is asking him to follow her to Japan where he is meant to reconnect with someone he spent prison-time with in Nagasaki. And the legacy of that experience - effectively Logan saved him - is that this man is on his deathbed, and is looking to give him a gift, to thank him for the life he's had. But this gift draws Logan into a very complex and very unexpected world within both contemporary Japan, and to some degree the feudal history of Japan. The quality of this story is that it takes Logan on such a challenging personal journey. He's so in isolation, so out of his element. It's a much more powerful distillation of his character than you've seen before. It's why people have always love this particular story.

In addition to the new image, we also get a behind-the-scenes look at Wolverine's famous berserker rage, which had been teased by director James Mangold. Although his veins are popping like in our last look at this character, you can tell he's ready to kick some ass. Check out both Empire Magazine images below (via Imgur) and let us know what you're most excited to see from 'The Wolverine' in the comments.
