The Wanted had a rather colorful history with Christina Aguilera, and they feel bad about it now. You know, almost six months later.

A refresher, since it's been a while: Back in April, the Wanted performed on 'The Voice,' and apparently Aguilera was a bit cold to them, and they spoke about it in a radio interview without mincing any words. "She’s a total b—-," Tom Parker said. "She might not be a b—- in real life but to us she was a b—-. She just sat there and didn't speak to us.” Harsh!

A few days later, Parker somewhat apologized, but not really. “We shouldn't have said it, to be honest with you," he admitted, but added, "We just think manners cost nothing, you know what I mean?” But Jay McGuiness concurred with Parker's original sentiments, telling press, “We unanimously think that Christina lacks any kind of courtesy or manners or respect for people performing for her on the day. And we’re not the only ones that say it. She’s had run-ins with so many people.”

Now, the band are reneging on the comments, in part because they admit they've faced a lot of backlash for them. "I watched an interview with her on 'Chelsea Lately' the other night and she came across really, really nice so I was a bit like, 'Oh s--!'" Parker told The Huffington Post. "Maybe she was she just having a bad day."

Bandmate Max George agreed, admitting that Parker wasn't in the best shape the day of their infamous meeting with the 'Your Body' singer. "He was, so..." Parker then offered his own mea culpa. "Yeah, I was having a terrible day. I was on my period ... oh shoot, sorry I apologize!"
