Holiday shopping is in full swing and a lot of us will be buying for kids or toddlers. Here are the toys you might be advised to steer clear of.

Buying for the younger kids in your family or your friend's kids is sometimes tricky. Even buying for your own kids is hard! Especially with so many people who want to buy kids actual toys instead of another video game or iPad. But maybe this guide will help you decide if certain toys are worth it and what you need to watch out for if you do give them as a gift.

Marvel Black Panther Slash Claw: Pretty self-explanatory. It's a hard plastic glove with claws that extend from the end. Obviously, if 5-year-olds 'slash' like Black Panther, they could inflict injury on themselves or others.

NERF Vortex VTX Praxis Blaster: Unlike traditional NERF guns that fire the soft "bullets", this NERF gun shoots hard plastic discs. It fires with a pump action and shoots 10 discs in a row.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Superstar Blade: This essentially looks like a giant plastic sword and has a spring-loaded plastic blade with some sharp points.

You can find the full list of "worst toys" here. And while all of these toys obviously come with the appropriate warnings ('don't shoot at face', 'don't hit or swing at people or animals', etc.), it's still worth knowing what you might be getting yourself into if these end up under the tree or in Santa's sleigh.
