The Inn on Shipyard Park Named One of MA’s Best Restaurants

One of our own was named one of MA's Best Restaurants outside of Boston!

The Inn on Shipyard Park, situated right on the Mattapoisett waterfront was recently given this honor.

As we all know, the Southcoast is famous for it's many diverse and delicious places to eat and now one of our restaurants was recognized by thrillest.com and their delicious menu was highlighted.

Some of their many great items include baked Gouda, bacon-wrapped cajun shrimp or baked shrimp stuffed with crab.  While the Inn has a lot of high end dishes, my personal favorite is their bacon cheddar burger.

The atmosphere is what sets the Inn apart from other restaurants.  The pub side of the Inn is very rustic with lots of dark woodwork and a working fireplace, while the dining room has a bright and whimsical look.

History geeks like me will enjoy the fact that The Inn is the OLDEST seaside inn in the country.
