What do you see when you look at this photo? Is it difficult to find what the DMV found so offensive? It was for me, until I kept reading.

Safer Hassan of Houston, Texas has had the license plate '370H55V' on his Lamborghini for the past three years, without any problems whatsoever until recently. He got an official letter in the mail from the Houston DMV telling him his license plate was offensive and they would be canceling it within thirty days.

It sounds like Hassan knows why they are canceling his plate, but he was still surprised, saying, “People have no idea what that plate means. My closest friends don’t even know.” Still stumped? Well, if you turn the license plate upside down, it sort of spells out a curse word.

In the letter that he received, it alluded to a similar license plate that was recently revoked for the same reason. Hassan says he has plans to appeal the state's decision.

I have to say, I don't blame him. It took me forever to realize what could possibly be wrong with this license plate listing letters and numbers that spell nothing in particular? Also, when in the world is anyone EVER going to be looking at this license plate upside down? The chances of that are so slim and even then, you cannot fully tell that it's a curse word. It sounds to me that the DMV magically has some time on their hands and are just looking for things to complain about.
