Thanksgiving Moments: Why You Should Never Force Feed Your Kids

My uncle always said to my Great Grandmother.."He'll eat when he is hungry!!" The reason he said that was because my Great Grandmother was always trying to get me to eat something, ALWAYS!One Thanksgiving day, we were all gathered around the table eating Thanksgiving dinner. My younger brother Mike didn't eat ANY potatoes, and for quite awhile was being harrassed to eat them. Over and over you heard "Your not leaving the table to you finish your potatoes!"

Finally Mike caved in and began to eat them. 3 minutes later, up comes the potatoes, and all the other Thanksgiving staples he had already eaten. DO NOT FORCE FEED YOUR CHILD!!
