In May, Fun 107 told you all about an Australian teen who is challenging beauty standards by breaking into the modeling industry. Just a few short months ago Madeline Stuart was an aspiring actress who was just trying to follow her dreams even though she does look like a "typical" model.

Stuart has Down Syndrome, but never once has she let her disability disable her. She has recently landed two new modeling campaigns, the first is with athletic wear company Manifesta and the second with Guatemalan handbag brand everMaya.

Stuart and her mother, Rosanne, decided on Manifesta and everMaya because the brands are personal to Maddy and her cause. Manifesta is a fitness brand that is very inclusive, and Maddy's recent weight-loss and love of fitness makes the brand a perfect match. Maddy chose to do everMaya simply because she loved the handbags and liked the charitable beliefs that the organization has.

Rosanne said that Maddy's next goal is to model for a well-known brand such as Forever 21, Gucci or Versace.

Many still believe that Maddy is just riding out her 15 minutes of fame but Rosanne thinks that her daughter is driven and talented enough to prove that she's in it for the long haul.
