Police in Taunton are looking for a 28-year-old woman was has been reported missing and may be in danger.

Taunton police posted to Facebook about a woman who has been missing for two weeks after walking away from her home in Avon.

Debra Parkinson is diagnosed with Alcohol Fetal Syndrome and is mentally challenged.

According to the post, she went to visit a friend in Taunton two weeks ago and never returned home.

Police say she has sold her cellphone, but they believe she is still in the Taunton area where she reportedly stated she wanted to seek housing assistance.

Parkinson is described as 5'7"  and about 215 lbs with short brown hair, brown eyes, and a butterfly tattoo on her right shoulder.

Her family describes her as friendly, but naive. They feel she may be in danger and say she has not had access to her daily medication since she went missing.

She may be living with the homeless population in Taunton, according to police.
