Taunton High School Holds Souperbowl

If you are a soup lover...and you live near Taunton...grab a spoon and get ready to slurp!

Taunton High's cooking program is holding its second annual Souperbowl sampling fundraiser.  According to the Taunton Gazette, the event will take place behind the high school under the Tiger THIS Thursday, Oct. 27 from 5-8 p.m.

Local restaurants donate the soups that will be served.  The Gazette reports that last year's winner was a Buffalo chicken soup...sounds delish!  Eat up!

Much like New Bedford Chowder Fest, people can sample these soups, then vote for their favorites.

The Souperbowl is a fundraiser for the high school's culinary arts program to purchase competition uniforms and other items. Tickets are available at the door the night of the event.
