If you still have leftover daydreams from third grade and fantasize about owning your very own horse farm, one is up for sale in Dartmouth.

When I was in third grade, I was in the process of writing a very lengthy short story about two best friends who lived on a giant horse farm. I got inspiration from my real life, where I spent every afternoon with a friend from school who had a couple horses. I offered to muck stalls, haul grain buckets, pick hooves, and scrub water buckets if it meant I could hang out with the horses. During my whole childhood, my grandparents had two (or more) of my uncle's horses living in their backyard. Now that I live in my grandparent's house, and my boyfriend works for a horse transport company, I would be lying if I said I didn't think quite often about getting a horse of our own.

Today, I learned that the horse farm, located on 264 Smith Neck Road in Dartmouth, was listed for sale. And I damned myself for not having a cool $5.4 million laying around to scoop it up. The farm is just minutes from Round Hill Beach and dates back to the 1800's with a main estate, a smaller house, two barns, and an indoor riding arena. The main house boasts over 3,000 square feet and includes an outdoor roof top patio that looks over to Martha's Vineyard. In total, the property has 8 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and loads of traditional charm.

I feel that it's important to note that purchase of the property DOES NOT include the horses, even though that would be magical.
