With the whole government shutdown thing happening, that means that the FCC isn't regulating things during broadcasts - for now. So the Fun Morning Show got a little racy during their entertainment report today.

We welcomed a couple of our new fall semester interns to the Fun 107 morning show this week.  For some reason, my allergies were KILLING me this morning...and I was afraid I would sound stuffed up (and maybe even sneeze) on the air.  So I was thinking about asking our intern, Sarah, to run across the street to buy me some Claritin...

Are we the only people who think of things like this?  Doesn't the beginning of Miley's song "We Cant' Stop" start with the exact same voice used in the movie Old School when Will Ferrell gets hit in the neck with a tranquilizer dart? Take a listen: 

Had a blast this morning with American Picker Mike Wolfe. He's in town to introduce American Vintage Hard Tea to the Southcoast. I brought in my vintage New Kids Dolls to see if he was interested in buying them. Listen to the interview here...

I'm a little worried about some equipment that is currently being installed in the Fun 107 studio.  The engineering department is adding webcams to our studio...which means that in the very near future you will be able to "watch" us as well as listen to us...

I had a little therapy/vent session this morning on the air.  I'm frustrated by all of the great school activities that I have to miss because I have this little thing called a "job".  This is a tough time of year for working parents with elementary school aged kids...

My wife has been complaining that my skin is too dry and I need to "moisturize". She's been on me about this for years.  "Drink more water," she says.  "Look at your hands!  They look like they could crack open." A police chase that started in Bourne last night ended at Tobey Hospital in Wareham when police used stop sticks.  The driver jumped out of the car and ran into the emergency room.  Police tackled him to the ground and arrested him.  Police say the driver was throwing money out of the window during the chase...
