SouthCoast communities saw a lot of black bear activity in 2023, and could be poised for even more in 2024 as MassWildlife has confirmed bears are moving in.
It turns out a black bear actually was involved in a collision with a car in Plymouth on Wednesday, despite MassWildlife originally refuting the collision.
A bear expert from MassWildlife said he is 'almost certain' there was only one black bear trekking across the SouthCoast last week, a two-year-old male.
SouthCoasters are excited about playing on the area's frozen lakes and ponds, but Mass WildLife says take time to make a plan and be sure conditions are safe.
