The Piping Plover (Charadrius melodus) is a small sand-colored, sparrow-sized shore bird that nests and feeds along coastal sand and gravel beaches in North America. It's that time again, and one nest has got a bunch of beach goers upset.
I used to love to watch them practice dog fighting(when jets try to shoot each other down) over my house in Marstons Mills as a boy. Also, I did not feel as safe when the jets left for a new home in Western Massachusetts! Problem Solved!
