Bed Bath and Beyond has announced this week that its Dartmouth store is among 87 locations that will be permanently closing nationwide — but some may not know that the home goods chain has deep New Bedford roots.

Bed Bath and Beyond will be closing roughly 60 stores around the country and we hope our SouthCoast stores are not on the list.

Once again a struggling retail chain is closing store fronts to save their business.

We are now hours away from what could possibly be the biggest shopping day of 2015, Black Friday of course!
