It's not uncommon to think that Breast Cancer is only related to women.

Although the percentage of men diagnosed is not as high as women and is still considered rare, there is still a 25% increase over the last 25 years according to www.breastcancer.org.

Regardless, this is still a serious matter and should be taken seriously. Alright Men, here's what you need to know/do to make sure you can detect any early signs...

Check for these symptoms:

-A lump in the breast

-Nipple pain

-An inverted nipple

-Clear or blood nipple discharge

-Soarson the nipple itself or areols

-Enlarged lymph nodes under the arm

To detect these symptoms, stand in front of a mirror with your shirt off and raise one arm while the other hand feels around the opposite chest area in search for lumps or abnormalities and repeat with the other side. If something does not seem right, contact your doctor as soon as possible!

Studies show that the average time between symptoms and diagnosis is usually around 19 months.

As rare as it may be, Male Breast Cancer still exists and should be taken care of.
