Something eerie has washed up on a shore in Provincetown, MA.

According to Cape Cod Online, a large piece of wood from a ship or dock washed up on Herring Cove Beach in Provincetown. The large debris was close to 20 feet long and about 8 feet wide and covered with seaweed and other oceanic oddities.

In the video, you can see pieces of metal running through the wood and a large, rusted piece of metal across the bottom.

The person behind the phone does a good job of raising potential theories as to what this debris could be from, he says, "I'm not sure if it's a shipwreck or an old pier, I believe there may have been a fishing village located in this general vicinity at some point."

I think that the debris is probably from a boat of some kind because of the way that it appears to be built in a triangular fashion. Hopefully, we get some info from the town on what this could be!
