Suspect Arrested For Suboxone Robbery At CVS

New Bedford Police say an arrest has been made in connection with the robbery of a CVS Pharmacy on Monday.

Detective Captain Steven Vicente says that at approximately 11 a.m. Wednesday the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Miles Flynn of Acushnet, was taken into custody without incident in Acushnet.

Flynn is accused of robbing the CVS Pharmacy at 139 Ashley Blvd.

Vicente says the suspect displayed a firearm, handed the clerk a note, and took an undisclosed amount of Suboxone.

Flynn was arraigned Wednesday on Armed Robbery and Armed Robbery subsequent offenses.

Vicente says detectives are still reaching out to potential witnesses and that the investigation is ongoing.

Flynn was convicted for convicted in 2009 for a similar robbery in Fall River and another one in Barnstable in 2011.
