Kick of the fall season by helping us Stuff the Truck on Saturday, September 10 in the Stop and Shop Plaza on Sconticut Neck Road in Fairhaven!

The United Way of Greater New Bedford has a goal of collecting 2,000 pounds of food to combat hunger in the New Bedford area. This year, the Hunger Commission is looking for the following items:

  • Hot & Cold Cereal
  • Pancake Mix & Syrup
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly
  • Dry Pasta & Pasta Sauce
  • Rice
  • Canned Pasta
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Instant Potatoes
  • Baked Beans
  • Soups
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Tuna Fish
  • Juices

While we appreciate the generosity of all who donate, there are a few items that we will not be accepting this year:

  • Expired food
  • Pet food
  • Perishable food items
  • Homemade items
