Student fees are set to increase at Bristol Community College.

The BCC Board of Trustees voted Monday to increase student fees by $8 per credit, a 4% increase over this year's costs.

The fee increase will go into effect for the Fall 2015 semester. This is the first increase in student fees since March 2012.

In a written statement, BCC President John Sbrega said, "The trustees did not enter into this decision lightly. They reluctantly took this action in order to maintain quality education and resources for student success."
