About a dozen State Police Troopers (and at least one North Attleboro police officer) swarmed the house of Aaron Hernandez this afternoon. They arrived shortly before 2pm. At about 3 o'clock, police brought a pry bar into the house. Then, shortly thereafter, a locksmith was called to the scene. The locksmith was at the home for just a short time, then left. Investigators carried out four, large brown paper bags at about 5:30pm and left the scene. According to Fox 25 in Boston, a "paper warrant" was been issued for Hernandez' arrest early Friday morning. State Police have not yet entered it into the computer system. If or when they do, any police officer can arrest the Patriot tight end. This paper warrant is believed to be a way to convince Hernandez to start cooperating with the investigation.
