Maybe it's just me, but it seems like NBC is really trying to get us all to watch State of Affairs tonight. So will you?

The new drama starring Katherine Heigl and Alfre Woodard will premiere tonight at 10pm after The Voice, which I'm sure you know because TV and radio commercials, online ads, print ads and everything in between has been talking about it non-stop for days.

The onslaught of ads for this thing makes me think it's not very good. I don't really know why it makes me think that, but the more I see and hear ads for it, the less interested I am in watching it.

I also can freely admit I'm not a big fan of Katherine Heigl. She doesn't seem like a nice person. Most of her former co-workers don't have nice things to say about her from what I've read. And the whole opting out of the Emmy nominations back in 2008 still really bugs me.

Clearly I have made my TV watching decision for tonight already, but have you? Any plans to check out State of Affairs?
