Stabbing In New Bedford Friday Sees Boston Man Arrested

It happened at about 3 a.m. today in the area of Hathaway Boulevard and Summit Street in New Bedford.

Police have charged 31-year-old Rhondo Robinson of Boston with armed assault with intent to murder. He is accused of stabbing 28-year-old Jonathan Edwards, also of Boston. Edwards was taken to St. Lukes Hospital, but then transferred to Rhode Island Hospital.
