Pickle Slushes.... let that just sink in for a moment.

Now, I've heard of "Pickle Backs" (A shot of whiskey that's chased with a shot of pickle juice), but never would I have ever imagined a sweet treat made with pickles and pickle juice.

According to Delish.com, Sonic Drive-In plans on releasing this unorthodox concoction sometime this June. The pickle-flavored syrup that will be used in the Pickle Slush can also be used on pretty much anything to which you'd like to add the "sour mix."

The real question is this: Would you be up for sampling such an odd drink? Yes, I love pickles and will put them on pretty much any sandwich. Yes, I enjoy the juice (especially with my whiskey). But when it comes to a treat that's meant to resemble drinkable frozen pickle juice... that's where I'm a bit hesitant. And that's coming from me, someone willing to try almost everything and anything. I mean, how bad can this really be? I'm just curious as to the overall taste--is it salty, is it sour, or perhaps a little bit of both? I have so many answers over such a controversial and crave-able drink!

You know what they say..."Don't knock it 'til you try it."
