Last night, the wife, her dad, and my sister-in-law got to go to the exhibition soccer game between Portugal and Brazil, and we got a special visitor too who visited Gillette Stadium.

Of course, my wife and sister-in-law are huge Cristiano Ronaldo fans, who unfortunately did not make an appearance at the game, probably because it didn't really count towards the standings for the World Cup, but in the beginning of the game, we saw Pele waving towards the crowd.

Now, I'm not an avid soccer fan like my father-in-law is, but soccer and Pele kind of go hand and hand. You know the name. It's like Michael Jordan and basketball.

I had a great time at the game. It is a little confusing with all the different colored cards, the tremendously larger field, and the never ending clock that counts up and up. The crowd was really into it. Not everyday do you get an opportunity to see two great teams battle it out on the soccer field as fans wave their Portuguese and Brazilian flags.

On an interesting note, I found it really strange to see the "wave" make an appearance so early in the game. Check out the video below.
