A WIND CHILL ADVISORY remains in effect until 10am Friday morning for NW RI and much of MA. Temperatures are dangerously cold this morning with wind chills well below zero, negative teens for some.
Today will be partly sunny and very cold with highs only in the upper teens. As a cold front approaches the area there is the chance of a passing snow flurry. Tonight will be cold again but the breeze will be calmer, expect lows in the lower teens. Saturday looks mostly cloudy with a few snow showers by late in the day, expect highs in the upper 20s to near 30. At most about 1" possible through the day.
A prolonged snow event likely to begin Sunday and last into early Tuesday. A few inches possible Sunday, (1-3"). The best chance of accumulating snow Monday, (3-6") with a few more inches possible into early Tuesday. There are still uncertainties when it comes to this prolonged event, but expect anywhere from about 6-12".
