Should we pay criminals not to do this

A growing movement across the country is gaining popularity in an effort to lower crime rates has some people raising their eyebrows.  A politician in Washinton D.C. is proposing a goverment program that would pay convicted criminals not to commit - are your ready for this -not to comitt crimes !

Politician are modeling the program after a program in california and richmond, Va  in which teens and adults are paid between $300 and $1,000 a month to follow a "life plan" and not to comimit major crimes some say the programs have dramatically reduced the communities crime and murder rate.

A Califormia community has a program where convicted felons are paid $ 9000 a year not commit crimes. Some of these criminals were murders

I don't know about you but I am One hundred percent againts this. I don't think we should pay people to not commit crimes . My parents never paid me not to commit crimes , I just never did it beacuse its wrong . What do you think, Should New Bedford or Fall River or Brockton have a program like this .

Would you be ok with having your hard earned tax dollars paid to criminal to not commit crimes in your city or town

Let me know what you think , I would love to hear your thoughs .is it me or have we lost our minds
