West End Neighborhood Again Rocked By Gunfire

NEW BEDFORD — Police are investigating a pair of shots fired reports over the weekend that occurred around the same area.

They mark the 12th and 13th incidents of shots fired in that neighborhood so far in 2018.

At 11:09 p.m. Friday night, Shotspotter noted shots having been fired in the area of Linden and Reynolds Streets.

At 1:23 a.m. Sunday morning, a little more than 26 hours later, Shotspotter again noted shots fired in the same area.

No injuries have been reported.
