I'm hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year and taking on all the cooking. Help me.

If you were listening to the show last week, you heard Michael giving me a hard time about hosting Thanksgiving for the first time. He was asking me all kinds of questions (most of which I didn't know the answer to) and warning me that I could ruin someone's holiday if I mess up the food. I honestly wasn't super nervous until we started talking about.

While I am so looking forward to preparing the food and having our friends and family to our house this year, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a little bit paranoid about forgetting something, drying out the turkey, setting my house on fire...you know. All the things that could go wrong.

When we talked about it on-air, tons of people called to give me amazing recipes for stuffing and gravy, to offer advice, and to remind me to make sure that I have my boyfriend pitch in (which he will, cause he's the best.)

But I'm curious - whether you've hosted 25 Thanksgivings or just one, tell me the things you wish you knew before going into it. Chef Joe Rego was kind enough to call in with some of his advice and now I want to hear from you.
