A Seekonk Woman was arrested on Monday, April 18th for driving recklessly under the influence with her 10 year old son in the passenger seat.

According to WPRI, 39 year old Tabitha Cater was traveling in Rehoboth during the morning hours on Monday when a witness driver had contacted the local police. A nearby Detective on Summer street soon recognized the car Carter was driving and immediately took her in after she failed a sobriety test that clearly showed she was under the influence of drugs.

Rehoboth Police released Carter not long afterwards on $1,040 bail and her court date will follow on Tuesday.Police have confirmed to WPRI that Carter is being arraigned for operating under the influence of drugs, endangerment to her adolescent son and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
