Many of us here in Southeastern Massachusetts have not been aware of a spectacular attraction within an hour's drive. A visit will give you an amazing view of the entire city of Boston, and beyond.

It's the Skywalk Observatory high atop the Prudential Center in downtown Boston. This is the highest spot in the city and gives you a 360 degree view from about 700 feet in the air.

It's not only a spectacular view, it's high tech. That means you can use handsets to know exactly what you are looking at. There is also a movie theater that is constantly playing films about the history of the area.

The observatory is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m during the summer. Even if you don't have a visit to Boston planned, I think you will find the Skywalk well worth the drive.
