FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) - The search for a man who went overboard from a boat in a Massachusetts pond has ended for the day, Sunday.

Authorities say the search for 35-year-old Emerson Belirio of Fall River has ended Sunday evening. It will resume Monday morning.

Authorities were called to South Watuppa Pond around 4:45 p.m. Saturday for a report of a person in the water.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says Belirio was a passenger on a 20-foot cabin cruiser. He, his wife and their two children were with a married couple who own the boat when the incident happened. Rescue personnel have been searching by air and by sea for Belirio ever since.
