There is new evidence of what was suspected in recent months. A super volcano is forming under parts of New England, including Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. Geologists says there is a huge mass of molten rock growing under this region of North America.

According to foxnews.com, a Rutgers University professor of Geology, the giant mass is slowly rising from deep in the earth under New England. He adds that the magma buildup under the area is rather recent and is also a surprise.

The story says it's impossible to predict exactly when this giant bubble of molton rock and lava will bust its way through the surface, but no one alive today should panic. The expert studying the area predicts it will be at least 50 million years from now.
