This is too close to home for sure but it seems it happens all to often at many colleges, universities and campuses across the nation…

During an off campus party this past September a female student was assaulted and the two accused are University of Rhode Island Football Players. These two individuals have been suspended.

According to The Providence Journal and WCVB, on Friday the student conduct board ruled that the football players were responsible for the misconduct, which involved sexual actions that were not specified. The newspaper is not identifying the football players by name as they have not been criminally charged at this time.

There were four female students who reported to campus police in September 2015 that they were locked in a bedroom in an off campus location and were assaulted sexually.
