Sam Claflin Cast As ‘Hunger Games’ Finnick Odair

After a summer of speculation as to who would play District fours big champion, it looks as though Sam Claflin has grabbed the crucial role for the sequel to 'The Hunger Games'.

Not exactly sure who Sam Claflin is? You aren't alone. The 24 year old actor has only been in a handful of things. His most recent role was in this summers 'Snow White and the Huntsman'. Now, he is going to be thrust into the limelight as Finnick Odair in 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'.

They have not yet started to film the sequel to 2012's 'The Hunger Games', but it will be out in 2013. It had been speculated that Clflin was the frontrunner for the role of Finnick ever since they confirmed that they were moving forward with the second part of the trilogy.
