After a long day of work, one of the best ways to unwind is to enjoy a nice dinner. While vacationing in Florida with family, we went to a restaurant called Columbia. It is Florida's oldest restaurant, having been in business since 1905. They now have grown to seven locations.

One thing I love about the experience at their restaurant is the 1905 Salad paired with their Sangria de Cava. Both items are prepared table side by your server. The recipes are available on Columbia's website and I can say I have made both quite a few times. In the colder months, I can close my eyes and enjoy these items I make at home and for a brief moment feel like I am on vacation.

If you're ever in the Tampa, Clearwater, Sarasota or St. Augustine areas of Florida's West Coast, I highly recommend going to this restaurant. I don't know about you, but a vacation is out of the cards for me at the moment, so for now let's bring the vacation to our homes!

Enjoy the recipes. The last tip in the salad recipe is to let the dressing refrigerate for one or two days before enjoying it. This makes a huge difference. It will appear congealed. Just give it a good shake.

Watch these videos of staff making the dishes table side. I guarantee you'll crave salad when you watch them. I'm not a salad person, but this is one damn good salad!
