Route 24 Ramp To I-195 Closed Next Two Nights

I hate road construction. I really hate it when I don't know anything about it and get stuck in the middle of it. So I thought I would let you in on the road construction in Fall River.

The Route 24 southbound ramp onto Interstate 195 in Fall River will be closed the next two nights, Massachusetts Department of Transportation officials said in a release.

The period will be from tonight, Wednesday night, at 8 p.m. until Thursday at 5 a.m., then again Thursday night from 8 p.m. until Friday morning at 5 a.m. The closures will allow crews to perform bridge deck repairs, MassDOT said.

There will be a detour in place leading drivers to Route 24 southbound onto I-195 westbound to follow to Route 24 southbound to Brayton Avenue and travel to Rt. 24 northbound and onto I-195 eastbound.
