A robocall was sent out to parents of students at Roosevelt Middle School in New Bedford's South End Thursday morning, alerting them that a student had apparently gone missing from school.

According to social media reports, the call indicated that the boy was a diabetic, and had missed his morning dose of insulin at the school.

New Bedford Police tell WBSM News that the boy is safe at home, at likely just skipped school.
