This past week, Daniel V. Pacheco, 42, of Rochester was back in court with his attorney to the multitude of animal cruelty offenses he was charged with on March 22. The arrest cam about after Rochester Animal Control Officer found the conditions of his barn 'deplorable'. Investigators found 23 animals, which included dogs, pigs, cows, goats, and rabbits, living in awful conditions.

A veterinarian who was called to the scene to care for the animals, determined that the animals were all suffering from neglect and were in various degrees of suffering and were all at risk of death.

The trail will continue on September 20th now that the Attorney has requested all police evidence to be presented.
