Road Trip Worthy: The Butterfly Place In Westford

About an hour north of Taunton you can walk among butterflies from all over the world.

It's butterfly season and you can see hundreds of these flying beauties from New England and around the world at The Butterfly Place in Westford, MA.

This large, indoor garden is filled with free-flying butterflies of all kinds, along with the koi fish and quail birds living among them.

The Butterfly Place website says you can even visit their “show and tell bench” where staff are on hand to answer all your butterfly questions.

Plus at the end of your trip, you can take home a hatching kit to watch a butterfly change right in your own home!

The Butterfly Place is open seasonally, with hours of operation from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday up until Columbus Day (October 9, 2017).

Tickets are just $12.50 for adults and $8.50 for kids and those 2 and under are FREE!
