Restaurant Fires Employees With Text Messages

Can you imagine working at a restaurant for years...and finding out that you were losing your job...with a text message?!

According to WFTV in Florida, that's how more than a dozen employees from Barducci's Italian Bistro in Winter Haven got their bad news. It was the 4th of July when this text message appeared on their phones.

When the owner was asked about the text messages...and the fact that the employees were still waiting to be paid for their final shifts, the owner responded to the news reporter the same way informed his employees they were losing their jobs...via text message!
