REPORT: Truck Intentionally Drives into Turkey Flock in Wareham

WAREHAM - Wareham officials are asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle that may have purposefully driven through a flock of wild turkeys.

The Wareham Department of Natural Resources has released a video taken by a motorist on Great Neck Road Sunday. The video shows dozens of turkeys on a nearby property, with several of them making their way across the road.

The person recording the incident told authorities an oncoming truck appears to speed up in the video, and drives over several turkeys.

The truck is described as an older model Ford, possibly red or a dark color with cab lights and a cap or cargo rack that extends above the cab of the truck.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Wareham Department of Natural Resources.
