Red Sox, Yankees Teaming Up For Hurricane Harvey Relief

Even the most storied rivals are coming together to help Houston.

The Red Sox and Yankees closed up their most recent series at Yankee Stadium on Sunday night. Before the game both teams announced a joint fundraising effort to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

After the last out was made both teams agreed to auction off memorabilia from the series finale. All the money raised will go directly to all the relief efforts in Houston.

Before the game, both team managers met behind home plate to take a photo with the Texas state flag.

The Sox came out on the wrong end of the game but both teams win for agreeing to come together to help.
