It wasn't a deer or a moose that drivers in Raynham were seeing earlier this week, it was a cow. The farm animal had escaped when a gate was left open and decided to take a stroll on Pleasant Street.

The brown cow may have caught word of the storm we were expecting this week and perhaps was trying to get to Florida. however, those driving near the LaLiberte Elementary School called poice to report the escaped bovine.

According to the The Taunton Gazette, Raynham police used their cruisers to block the cow from travelling further. A bucket of food was then used to lure the animal back home. Apparently the cow's owner was home at the time of the escape.
