Rapper 50 Cent Files For Bankruptcy

According to The Wall Street Journal, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, whose debut album was poetically titled Get Rich or Die Tryin’, is broke.

The WSJ reports that Fiddy, who raps, acts and schills whatever product he’s paid to, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy today, listing debts in the range of $10 million to $50 million.

However, the timing makes sense, as the filing comes right on the heels of a jury ordering him to pay a woman $5 million in a sex tape lawsuit. Not that you would know he was in any financial trouble if you follow him on Instagram. He loves flaunting his wealth in the face of us mere peasants, but now, he might start eating Top Ramen with the rest of us!

Forbes listed him as one the richest rappers in the land.
